Ronald Ernspiker

Ronald Ernspiker, 75, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his home.  Ron was a mason, an Army veteran, and a member of River View Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing  and being outdoors. He owned and operated several businesses throughout the years. He was also a retired employee of Beatrice Foods and the  Bullitt County Public Schools.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Ernspiker; his parents Lee and Pearl Ernspiker; a granddaughter, Ashley Vogt; siblings, Diane, Gene, Douglas, Bruce, Charles Ernspiker, Elizabeth Woosley, and Helen Hensley.  He is survived by his wife, Elsie Phelps Ernspiker; his children, Ron Ernspiker Jr, (Pam) Sandy Piepmeyer (Bill) David Ernspiker (Peggy) and Eric Ernspiker (Elizabeth); bonus children, Angie Sellers, Russell and Daniel Baumgart; a sister, Doris Davidson; special nephew/son Scott Paul (Glorya); along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brother and sister-in-laws.  

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday.  Memorial gifts in Ron’s memory are suggested to Hosparus of Louisville.
