Ronald Joe Hays

Ronald Joe Hays, 65, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Baptist Health.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Peggy Hays; and his siblings, Bill Hays, Dottie Lauerbaugh, and Terry Hays.  He is survived by his loving wife of 42 1/2 years, Carol Gash Hays; one daughter, Carrie Hays; a son, Andrew Hays; one sister, Pat West; along with three grandchildren, Jena, Nolan, and Vince.  A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.
