Ronnie Mitchell

Ronnie Mitchell, 75, of Mt. Washington, passed away June 18, 2021 in Frankfort, KY.

He was a retired employee of the Bullitt County Board of Education and a member of Calvary Christian Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Delsie Burkhead Mitchell; along with a host of brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Benham Mitchell; two sons, Marty (Lisa) and Jeremy (Angela) Mitchell; one daughter, Lorie Wilder (Joe); six grandchildren, Joshua Mitchell (Shruti), Ashley Schindler (Josh), Jacob Mitchell, Briana Wilder, and Caden and Alayna Mitchell; along with one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Schindler.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
