Rossiland Jean Goepper

Rossiland Jean Goepper, 72, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.  She was a graduate of the University of Louisville, and avid U of L fan, loved football, painting, and traveling, especially to the beach.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Bob" Goepper and Mildred "Gen" Goepper; and a grandson, Zachary Daniel Perry.  She is survived by four children, Tracy Alvey (Matt), Melissa Goepper-Gibson, John Bailey (Mallory), and Ariel Bailey; six grandchildren, Tucker White, Landon Alvey, Lily Alvey, Kylie Blevins, Aubrey Bailey, and Rowen Bailey; great granddaughter, Jayla Perry; two sisters, Patricia Falk and Sherry Belk (Gary); her former husband and close friend, Steve Bailey; along with special friends, Suzi Smith and Phillip Lanier; three nieces, a nephew, and a host of great nieces,  great nephews and friends.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.  A Celebration of her Life will be held  4 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until time of service on Sunday.
