Roy Steven Greenwell

Roy Steven Greenwell, 69, of Taylorsville, returned to the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at his home.  He was a native of Louisville, KY, a retired medical engineer, and a United States Navy veteran.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.  He also enjoyed photograpy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Leon and Mildred Culver Greenwell.   Roy is survived  by his loving wife, Dorlene Jackson Greenwell; one daughter, Alisha Kesslar; four sisters, Ann Clark, Patti Adkins, Kathy Williams, and Becky Dawes; two brothers, Rick and Bob Greenwell; along with two grandchildren, Ashtyn and Evangeline Kesslar.  Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 with burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m.  Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
