Russell "Branden" Lewis, 22, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Branden was born on December 21, 2001 to Russell and Marie Armstrong Lewis in Louisville, KY. He was an employee of Bootleg Bar-B-Q. Branden had the best heart; he loved his family and had a great love of animals. He enjoyed cooking, music, fishing with his friends, and playing video games. He was also a gun enthusiast and enjoyed making knives. He was preceded in death by a sister, LeeAnn Lewis; a grandfather, Mark Brown; great grandparents, Glenn Armstrong, Russell and Isabell Lewis, and Donald and Margaret Jarrett Ladd. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Ashlee and Tabatha Lewis; a nephew, Braylen Daniels; grandparents, Kevin Armstrong (Vicki Cox), Sandie Brown, and Wanda Lewis; great grandmother, Milda Faye Armstrong; along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Memorial gifts in Branden's memory are suggested to donor's favorite charity.
