Serenity Michelle Linkenhoker, 48, of Shelbyville, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. She was born on September 27, 1976 in Tampa, Florida to Richard and Tammy Ciuzio. Serenity was a loan officer with Fifth-Third Bank, and a member of Southeast Christian Church. Along with a strong faith and love for the Lord, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Serenity was preceded in death by her father, Richard Ciuzio; and a granddaughter, Oakley Sage Dotson. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Linkenhoker; five children, Taylor Dotson (Savannah), Jillian Burke (Joey), Shelby Linkenhoker, Austin Murry, and Garret Linkenhoker (Laura); two grandchildren, James Dennis Burke and Rylan Maverick Dotson; her mother Tammy Ciuzio; grandfather, Charles Tex Berry; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doug and Sheila Linkenhoker; sister-in-law, Lana Allgeier (Kenny); along with a host of extended family and friends. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Calvary Christian Center in Mt. Washington from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
