Sherri Lynn McVay-Thompson

Sherri Lynn McVay-Thompson, 66, of Shepherdsville, passed away December 2, 2023.  She was a manager for Goodwill Industries and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Helen McVay; along with her siblings, Rick McVay and Sandy Mills.  She is survived by her son, Joshua Cajun Ingram (Ashley); her daughter, Elizabeth Erin Stiers (Seth); her sister, Susan McVay; along with three grandchildren, Izabella Walton, Grace May, and Lola Stiers.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.  Friends may gather at a memorial visitation from 7-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  A memorial service will follow at 7:30 p.m.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
