Sherry Luckett Obituary
Sherry Denise Luckett, 61, of Mt. Washington, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at her home.
She worked as both a realtor and an insurance agent.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Paul Gabehart; her father, Paul “Junior” Cash; along with a sister, Penny Nalley.
She is survived by two sons, Chris Gabehart (Courtney) and Austin Luckett (Lauren); her mother, Wanda Perkins; one brother, Timmy Cash; one sister, Michelle Cash; four grandchildren, Madilynn and Henry Gabehart and Gabriella and Avaley Kate Luckett; along with her life partner, Mark Hunter.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Tallow Creek Cemetery, Mansville, Ky. Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Kent Bland, Tom Tungate, Jerry Neal, Ryan Cook, Matt Cash, Josh Cash, Kyle Boles, and BJ Cornell; along with honorary pallbearer, Jason Hutchings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
