Sue (Wright) Baxter

Sue Baxter, 85 of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024.  She was the former Sue Wright, a native of Big Springs, KY, and a devoted homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking, and playing cards.  Her greatest joy in her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents, Coy and Elizabeth Wright; and a sister, Ruby Strohm.  Sue is survived by four children, Kathy Wilbert, Anida Thomas, Teresa Triplett (Wayne), and Nicholas Baxter (Amber); one sister, Mary Logsdon; one brother, Russell Wright; along with seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until time of service.
