Teresa Gail (Caudill) Flynn

Teresa Flynn, 66, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at her home.   In a career that spanned 43 years at Peoples Bank of Mt. Washington, Teresa  worked  24 years in banking and 19 years in financial planning.  Teresa was a longtime member of Kings Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.  Most recently, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.   She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Betty and Bob Baird; her father, Dennis Caudill; and her brother, Jeff Caudill.  Teresa is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Flynn; two daughters, Emily Elmore (Brian) and Erin Johnson (Adam); along with four grandchildren, Brianna LaPierre, Erin Elmore, Elliott and Jessa Johnson; and a great grandson, Brayden LaPierre.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.  Memorial gifts in Teresa’s memory are suggested to Hosparus of Louisville.
