Thomas Duane Goolsby

Thomas Duane Goolsby, 74, of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.  He was a native of Birmingham, Alabama, a former police officer with the Birmingham Police Department and the Kentucky State Police, and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Mary Goolsby.  Tommy is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Kathy Hoots Goolsby; two sons, Erik and James Goolsby; stepchildren, Tami Bunch, Brian Whitaker (Jesse), and Nathan "Andy" Noble; three sisters, Dale Sewell, Darlene Armstrong, and Sharon Armstrong; along with three grandchildren.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
