Thomas Louis Roby

Thomas Louis Roby, 71, of McDaniel’s, KY, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away April 13, 2021 at Breckenridge Memorial Hospital.

He was the shop manager for Interstate Battery, a member of St. Anthony the Abbott Catholic Church, an avid golfer and fisherman. He loved music, playing with his grandchildren, and bird watching from the sunroom.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ford Roby.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Roby; son, Jeff Roby (Jaime); daughter, Lori Jarboe (Brent); mother, Juan Poe; two brothers, George “Skeeter” Roby and James Alan “Rusty” Roby (Nancy); one sister Beverly “Sis” Roby; along with five grandchildren, Loren Ashlie Roby, Landon Roby and Reece Roby, Nathanial Jarboe and Kate Jarboe; and his beloved cat Saffie.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit after 8:30 a.m. Friday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.
