Thomas Lee Stewart, 52, of Taylorsville, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
He was a welder, fabricator, and supervisor for Derby Welding and attended Calvary Christian Center, Mt. Washington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Stewart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Stewart; a daughter, Rebecca Smith (Neil); his mother, Marilyn Browning (Larry); one brother, Kevin Michael Stewart; two sisters, Theresea Stewart and Katrina LaFavers; along with two grand-daughters, Ava and Emma Rae Smith.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Big Springs Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday evening at Rebecca Smith’s home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Due to the current pandemic, the family asks that you please consider wearing a mask if you plan to attend. Also, there will be no food or drinks allowed in the funeral home. You can send any refreshments to the family’s home.
