Timothy Joel Krava

Timothy Joel Krava, 76, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville.  He was born on January 29, 1949 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to the late Joseph and Helen Krava.  Mr. Krava was retired from the U.S. Airforce after 21 years faithful of service. He was also a member of the UMC Veteran’s Ministry and Returning American Warriors, Shepherdsville Battalion.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Krava.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Joyce Bauer Krava; three children, Michelle Ann Sinclair (Markus), Joel Timothy Krava (Valerie), and Glen Alan Krava (Alaina); one sister, Barbara Sanders; along with seven grandchildren, Zakary, Parker, Mason, Kailey, Collin, Lily, and Logan.  A memorial service will be 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until time of service.  Memorial gifts are suggested to the VA Hospital or your favorite veteran’s charity.
