Verna Mae (Reynolds) Fulkerson

Verna Mae Fulkerson, 93, of Mt Washington, returned to the Lord on Friday, February 14, 2025.   Verna was born on July 23, 1931 in Michigan to Cassius and Vera Reynolds.   She was  a retired employee of the Logan Company, the Bullitt County Board of Education, and FBC Mother's Day Out Program.  She was a faithful member of Kings Baptist Church where she  served in many roles .  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Myrel Fulkerson;   two brothers, Melvin and Marvin Reynolds; and two sisters; Marion Mathis and Beulah Mefford.   Verna is survived by two children, Lynda Snead (Ed) and Perry Fulkerson; one granddaughter, Julie Jewell (Colby); and two great grandchildren, Hannah and Noah.   A graveside service will be held in the chapel at Highland Memory Gardens on Friday, February 21 at 3 p.m.  Memorial gifts in her memory are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
