Viola Beatrice (Seigle) Douglas

Viola Beatrice Douglas, 97, of Mt. Washington, passed away March 5, 2026.  She was a member of Kings Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Nettie Seigle; her husband, Leroy Douglas; a son, Kevin Wayne Douglas; along with her siblings, Wynand, Wally, Mansel, Aubrey, Randy, John, and Garland Seigle, Evelyn Dehoney, Frances Coulter, Barbara Hoops and Anna Nalley.  She is survived by her son, Roy E. Douglas; two daughters, Patricia Allison and Sharon Palmer (Chris); two brothers, James and Charles Seigle; four sisters, Marcella Bryant, Doris Thomas, Alice Pearson, and June Losey; along with 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
