Virginia (Jackson) Rymer

Virginia Rymer, 79, of Louisville, passed away on March 2, 2025 at her home.  Virginia was born on January 7, 1946 in Louisville, KY to the late Ted and Ruby Jackson.  She was an Elvis Presley fan, enjoyed taking care of children, coaching T-Ball, trips to Kentucky Kingdom, and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George Rymer; and siblings, Alice Barton, Ted Jackson Jr., and Janet Bennet.  Virginia is survived by four children, Judy Shaw, Jerry, Jason, and Michael Rymer; and siblings, Nancy Fuchs, Carol, Ronnie, Jimmie, and Kenny Jackson; nine grandchildren, Brittany, Samantha, Angela, Miranda, Shelby, Jason, Caitlyn, Brantley, and Aaron; along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens, both in Mt. Washington, KY.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday.
