Waldo Napier, Jr. Obituary

Waldo Napier, Jr., 79, of Shelbyville, KY returned to the Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2022 Jewish Hospital. He was a native of Redbird, KY, an Army veteran,and a member of Community General Baptist Church. Mr. Napier was a retired construction worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo and Tishie Napier Sr.; and a sister, Phyllis Knuckles. He is survived by his wife, Judy Napier; one son, Chris Napier (Angela); two stepchildren, Melissa Combs and Jeremy Combs; one brother, Larkin Napier; along with 8 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Alzheimer Association.
