Wanda (Green) Riddle

Wanda Riddle, 86, of Mt. Washington, passed away September 9, 2025.  She was retired from Houchen's Grocery and was a devoted member of Bethel United Methodist Church.  Wanda also loved working in her yard and flowers, attending her grandchildren's games, going shopping with her best friend, Joyce Johnson, and visiting with her family and friends in Glasgow.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Green and Louise Thomas; a daughter, Julie Davis; her husband, Darwin; two step-sons, Michael and Doug Riddle; along with a step-daughter, Patty Burris.  She is survived by her son, Richard Davis (Sonya), her daughter, Michelle Ballard; a step son, Larry Riddle (Dorothy); a step daughter-in-law, Patricia Gail Riddle; a step son-in-law, Herb Buris; four grandchildren, Clay Ballard (Carrie), Josh Ballard (Danielle), Cody Davis (Shelby), and Curtis Davis (Taylor); four great-grandchildren, Calvin, Jaxon, Collins, and Marley; along with six step-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Friday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bethel Church Cemetery.  Friends may visit 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
