Wenda Sue (Pryor) McMillan

Wenda Sue (Pryor) Turner McMillan, born into our family on July 17, 1952 and called home to Jesus on April 22, 2026.  Wenda, affectionately know as Wendy, had her own way of doing things, and she rarely moved from that position.  She had a bit of a wild streak in her early years, but that was before she said yes to Jesus.  Her Lord and Savior held her fast through all of life’s trials.  She had a heart for those in need, and together with her husband Larry, they spent untold hours ministering to others and sharing the Gospel. 

Wendy was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Turner; her parents, Richard T. Pryor Sr. and Sarah E. (Reader); sisters, Kathryn Pryor, Roccarol “Rockie” Keith; one brother, Richard T. Pryor, Jr.; grandparents, James and Katie Pryor (Blevins) and George and Minnie Reader (Monroe). 

Wendy is survived by her loving second husband, Larry W. McMillan; two loving sons,  Gregory (Ronalyn) and Nathan Turner;  stepdaughters, Kristy Ongoy (Linsey) and Michelle Jordan (Gary); grandchildren, Jade and Dallie Turner, Sarah and Sophia Turner; step grandchildren, Linsey Jr., Jordan, Rachel and Khloe Ongoy, and Michael, Alexis, Alicia, Ariel, Sarah, and Keali’i Lonoae’a; one sister, Sharon Pryor Plummer; brothers, Eric  (Jackie) and David (JoAnn ) Pryor; a sister-in-law, Becky Pryor; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2026 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in Bethany Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. Friday until time of services.
