William Shane Bogard

William Shane Bogard, 53, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at his home.  Shane was born on December 31, 1971 in Louisville, KY to William Frederick and Mary Jane Bogard.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Angela Smith and Sheila Smith; one brother, Brandon Bogard (Brandi Martin); nieces, Carissa Smith, Alexandria Grace Smith, Jayla McMillin (Devon), Selina Smith, and Sierra Martin; great niece and great nephew, Della and Baker McMillin.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
