William Donald Frey

William Donald Frey, 87, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Green Meadows Health Care Center surrounded by his family. Don was a retired farmer and member of Mt. Washington United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Louis and Frieda Frey; a grandson, Andrew Frey; his son-in-law, Tony Buschkoetter; and his brother, Harvey Frey. Don is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Carolyn Amshoff Frey; two children, Paul Frey (Melissa); and Lisa Buschkoetter; along with 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 4- 7 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorial gifts are suggested to his church or Crusade for Children.
