William "Bill" Ramsey

Rev.  William Vincent "Bill" Ramsey, 82, of Mt. Washington, KY returned to the Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  He was a native of Charleston, WV, a graduate of West Virginia University and the Louisville Bible College.  He was a retired salesman for Huber Tire.  Brother Bill served as Pastor of New Cut Road Baptist Church in Louisville, and Union Town Baptist Church in Indiana.  His ministry also included interim pastoral positions, conducting revivals, preaching to the homeless, in nursing homes and outreach to prisons. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Highview Baptist Church, and Valley View Church and most recently Church of the Crossroads in Mt. Washington.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Kirk Ramsey; and his parents, Shelby Clayton and Elizabeth Bagley Ramsey Sr; and a brother, Shelby Ramsey Jr..  Bill is survived by one daughter, Beth Cassity (Tom); two sisters, Delores Onalee Ramsey and Brenda Ferrell (Lorin); one granddaughter, Shelby MacMurray (Chase); great granddaughter, Aurora Cassity; and his sweetheart, Barbara Miller.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Church of the Crossroads,10848 KY-44, Mt. Washington.  Friends may visit on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Saturday, all at the church.  Private entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
