Wynona Lee Huff, 103, of Fern Creek, KY, returned to the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home. She was born on November 1, 1921 to the late Merritt and Edith Alloway in Spencer County, KY. She retired from the civil service where she worked as a cartographer. She drew many maps for the Army dating back to World War II. She was also very devoted to her church, Cedar Creek Baptist Church, where she worked with the staff members on the weekly publication of the newsletter until the age of 98. She also served as a trustee and on the social committee, as well as led trips for the senior citizens. She enjoyed yard sales, and kept physically active by walking two miles a day. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vic Huff; and her three sisters, Mary “Winkie” Cobb (Noble), Myrith Smith (Pete), and Judy Alloway Williams (Leroy). Wynona is survived by one son, Gordon Huff (Cindi); three grandchildren, J.R. Huff (Sarah), Ashley Huff (Jon), and Katlyn Kuchenbrod (Eric); along with four great grandchildren, Lincoln, Lily, Wyatt, and Grant. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Memorial gifts are suggested to Fern Creek Highview Ministries.
